What i think about Scarlett Lace front so far

Okay, so i got impatient and opened up the scarlett package even though i know i can't wear it until i take out these extensions.  So i took it out, cut the lace and brushed out the curls a bit because it looked thin. Let's just say this hair sheds A LOT. I did wrap up my hair and put on a wig cap and it looked strange probably because my hair was bulky underneath but it is a good wig if you can ignore all the shedding. It probably will tangle. I hope to get a few wears out of it. I am also going to trim it up a bit because it is too long on me.

I haven't worn the wig out yet since i have extensions but since it sheds a lot straight out of the pack i think things will will get worse (much much worse). I probably won't re-purchase. I am focusing on saving up to get one of those lace wigs from ebay i blogged about earlier. They are probably better quality.

Also i will probably make a video giving my honest review on it. I have only seen one or two youtube beauty guru's who were honest about the shedding and tangling.

Face of the day 10/8/2011

Today i didn't go anywhere but i still decided to do my make up. I attempted to put on the faux eyelashes but as usual i fail. The guru's on youtube make it seem so easy but it never works out for me. I guess i need to keep on practicing. Anyways i actually tried on the Noor Kajal Kohl Arabian eye liner. I give it two thumbs up. As yo can see my eyebrows need help.

In need of a face mask treatment

I don't know if it is because it is that time of the month but my skin has just been looking awful for the past couple of days. I don't know what is going on because it looked great last week. I felt like my dark spots/blemishes were disappearing and then BAM i look at the mirror and they seem more emphasized. My go to face mask is the Mint Julep Masque by Queen Helene. I ordered one from amazon and had it shipped to my house so i do not have it here with me. I can not wait to go home in two days and give myself a much needed skin treatment. But until then i will just pile on that foundation so i won't feel like crying whenever i look in the mirror.

In need of an eyebrow intervention

Last week i went to the mall and the lady who does the eyebrow threading wasn't at the usual stand. There was a sign that said they moved to the food court. Went down there, didn't see them. Hopefully they are there when i go back because i eyebrows look a mess.
I am just not feeling too hot these days, my skin is acting up.

I was looking for an eyeliner that would give me that dark, sexy, intense look and a lot of these regular eye pencils weren't cutting it for me. So three days ago on ebay i typed kohl into the search and this came up in the results.  I saved it under my "Watch list." because i wasn't sure if i wanted to make the purchase but i actually made the purchase today. I don't really have a review for you all because i just ordered it 2 minutes ago lol but i read a wikipedia article on kohl eyeliner and it hit me that kohl eyeliner is very popular in my tribe/ethnic group. When i was a baby my grandmother used to put it around my eyes. I am a Dagomba girl and a lot of our traditions are pretty close to the Hausas..a very popular ethnic group in Western Africa. My paternal grandmother was a Hausa woman. Anyways i can't wait to receive it.

New Belly Ring from Ebay seller in China

Okay, last year around this time i finally decided to get my navel pierced. It was extremely cute and seemed to be going well/healing well until the 5th month when i developed some bump that just couldn't go away on the bottom hole. 2 months later i developed another bump on the top hole so i ended up taking it out. I took it out in June but prior to that i ordered a belly ring (the pink one pictured at the top) and after it arrived and i saw it, i just thought "This is so cute!" i want to get my belly button redone so i can wear it." I do plan on getting it redone. I took some pictures holding the ring against my tummy.It was actually very cheap on ebay. Like a dollar something with a dollar shipping. Of course since it was being shipped all the way from China it took about 3 weeks. Edited to add: The hair i am wearing for my extensions is Janet Alco Remy Yaky. Very good hair, very little tangling and shedding. I have had it for i think a month now and i have washed it many times with no issues. Very costly, like 79.99 per pack for 14 inches but it is now my go-to hair for extensions. I am going to reuse and get another pack or an even fuller look.

What became of my curls + braided headband

So last night i posted that i was going to curl my hair. Well i did that this afternoon before i went to class. It came out okay i guess. One side was flat looking. This curls dropped after my hair got wind fucked when i stepped outside. So at the end of the day this was my hairstyle. Side pony tail with a braided hair band i purchased from ebay two months ago. You can see the fallen curls in the pony tail lol

I think i am in love with this hairstyle, if i could find someone in my area who could do this it would be my winter hairstyle.
