NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi, Addis ababa and Monte Carlo

I ordered this on ebay Mid Last week and they arrived within two days. I have been eyeing this product for awhile and decided to take the plunge and buy it. So far i love it. It is not a gloss or a lipstick. It is more like something in between. It doesn't feel sticky, but i must say put on some lip balm before you put it on because it does dry out and if your lips are dry, the gloss will emphasize that. It also lasts for a long time. Also if you haven't noticed the shades are named after major cities in the world :-)

Abu Dhabi: Nude color.
Addis Ababa- Hot pink
Monte Carlo-Dark red color

Maybelline Color Sensational in Copper Charm

Last week my parents and I went to CVS to take pictures for our U.S citizenship stuff. While they were processing the pictures i decided to browse the make up section and i found the perfect nude lipstick. Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Copper Charm. It is perfect for us brown girls. Doesn't have a nasty taste or smell to it and it doesn't go on dry like other lipsticks. I give it two thumbs up.

Okay Opinions.

Really love:
Maybelline Matte Mousse-My go to foundation most of the time, great coverage and perfect for combo/oily complexions.
Maybelline Liquid Mousse-flawless coverage
Of course i love the two powders but my favorite out of the two is the maybelline one.

Just Okay
Maybelline 24 hr- I guess it is just okay.
Revlon color stay-Just okay
These are the ones i pull out once every blue moon.

Don't really like
Revlon photoready-It is not so much the foundation, it is that i picked the wrong color. False advertising because the color shown through the glass is not the color that comes out of the pump.
Maybelline Nude foam mousse- This is my new purchase, it is okay. Really sheer, doesn't give much coverage. I mean if you have flawless skin and just want sheer coverage get it. Not really good for oily complexions either.

Making a make up haul video in two weeks

I ordered a whole bunch of make up from amazon 2 days ago. I had them sent off to my house and i won't be going home this weekend so next week watch out for the video.

4 out of the 6 have been shipped so far. I am a bit concerned about the palettes, i hope they handle it with care and it doesn't come in broken pieces *crosses fingers*

Might have to take a break from this blog

and all of my online profiles basically. The new semester begins tomorrow and i have a feeling it is going to be difficult. I just saw a syllabus for one of my classes and i kid you not it was 23 pages. I have never had a syllabus that long but i haven't even stepped foot in the class and i already feel overwhelmed. So just wanted to let you all know i am going to be taking a mini break.

New Hair orders

Earlier this week i ordered another gala from hairwigharlem and a straight faux ponytail well they took too long to ship and didn't inform me of this till today so i just decided to cancel. So disappointed in HWH this time around. So they refunded my money and i ordered a lacefront wig Freetress Kimora and a wavy-ish faux ponytail by New born free called edith. I ordered the Kimora from divatress and the ponytail from clairhair. I will be expecting them to arrive by mid next week.

My first ever pair of thigh high boots!

They are black and suede and they arrived last week. Haven't debuted them out because i am on break and do not have anywhere to go but i will most likely wear them when i head back to school. I will most likely wear them in jeans in order to avoid looking like a street walker.

End of Semester Updates

So i just wanted to tell you guys that last week i completed the fall semester of my Junior year in University. The new semester begins on January 23rd so that means i basically have a month to relax which is great. 3 more semesters to go before i get that bachelors degree baby. I am looking forward that final semester when i student teach.

Anyways this was a great semester. I made straight A's in 4 of my classes and a C+ in one but i am not stressing about it because it is biology...yuck not my major plus that C+ didn't pull me back from getting on the dean's list plus now my GPA is a 3.44 =] I hope by the time of graduation i will exceed beyond that and graduate with special honors.

Christmas Party make up

I don't celebrate but my parents friends invited us over their house to celebrate. Anyways as i have stated previously i am not a pro but i think i do an okay job with my make up. My mom's friend even complimented me and told me i needed to teach her daughter how to do make up lol Anyways here are the pics. Basic gold eyeshadow from the coastal scents palette with pink lips.

Took advantage of Bill me Later

So there is this new feature that can be used in most online stores called "Bill me Later" where you can buy something and opt to pay for it later. Well ebay kept sending me emails about this feature and giving me 6 months to pay so i decided to take advantage of it. I spent 52 dollars on a pair of thigh high boots and a dress. This is probably the only time i will use this feature because i know i will probably get too addicted and go overboard =]

New Pink Fuschia Pumps

I just recently ordered these shoes on ebay. It was $14.36 plus free shipping! I usually like my heels a little bit higher but i couldn't pass these shoes up plus i need some pink shoes. It is estimated to arrive at my door step by the end of this week. Next up i want to order some thigh-high boots.

Gave Bree a bath today

Remember Bree? Well today i decided to wash her. I haven't washed her since i purchased her which was in late May of this year. Yeah i know gross but it didn't smell bad at all i just wanted to give it a wash. As usual i filled my tiny blue bucket with water added a little shampoo and swished the wig around the soapy water for about a minute. Then i emptied the bucket, filled it with clean water, swished the wig around to remove the soapy-ness. Afterwards i shook the wig to remove any water then i hanged it up to dry. It is about 95% dry right now. An update on the hair. It is still standing strong! And i must say it looks way better after i washed it. Prior to washing it had a bit of fake shine...maybe it is because i purchased it in the color 1 but either way after the wash it looks more natural. The ends feel a teeny bit rough but it isn't bad at all. Since the hair is futura i can probably run a flat iron over it and it will be back to good =]
